JF Magic Brings Dancing Lights to Bethlehem City Blocks

4 Blocks Boulevard Solar Banners

JF Magic brings a whole new meaning to the term, "Tripping the Light Fantastic" with the latest installations of their solar-powered Boulevard Banners along city blocks in Bethlehem, PA adorned with dancing light-emitting images. Good reason for the neighborhood to join the dance since they draw no energy from the power grid thus eliminating the need for hard earned tax dollars to power them, their bright graphics instill an up-beat, positive feeling among the local residents, and at night they come alive to entertain and delight the viewers.

Season's Greetings Sparkle in High-Tech
Lampposts on south Bethlehem street lit by fiber-optic banners

Fiber-optic banners with 'Merry Christmas' printed in languages spoken in south Bethlehem, including English, Spanish, Portuguese and Hungarian, grace the 500 to 800 blocks of E. Fourth Street with the help of two Lehigh Valley businesses. (MICHAEL KUBEL, Allentown Morning Call/December 20, 2007)

New fiber-optic banners are helping a south Bethlehem neighborhood wish everyone a high-tech ''happy holidays'' in more than a dozen languages.  Fiber optic snowfalls display upon the banners from dusk till dawn powered by three small batteries inside the banners which, according to Lee Wainwright, the inventor, will keep them snowing for several months before battery replacement is necessary.

JF Magic teamed up with Imageworks, a local graphic printing company, to produce this new product.  The two companies plan to make similar banners for towns and shopping malls across the country. They created the E. Fourth Street banners as a way of testing their first batch of prototypes under real-world conditions.

Israel… New Beginnings

Although we have long agreed not to expose ourselves to unnecessary danger, when opportunity knocks, we seem to be adventurous enough to answer the call to engage in business relationships that invite us even to the brink of uncertain surroundings. This was the case in our journey to Jerusalem, Beer Sheva, and the Dead Sea sometimes only 20 minutes from the Gaza Strip to teach employees of a company how to incorporate our fiber optic technologies into the most beautiful dresses ever to adorn women. The dresses are hand made and contain up to 5000 Savorsky crystals intricately placed onto fantasy bodice creations in such precision that the resulting creations transform into breathtaking masterpieces of design. JF Magic is proud to be working with such a prestigious company whose reputation is world-renowned. Watch for News updates later in 2007 when these dresses are released to the runway…

South Africa, Land of Wild Animals and Lucrative Business Connections

Working closely with SBDC personnel from the Lehigh Valley and government trade representatives from Harrisburg, PA and Johannesburg, South Africa, JF Magic completed a whirlwind trade expedition consisting of meetings with over 30 companies stretching from South Africa to Maritius off the coast of Madagascar in the pursuit of new business connections. The trip was well worth the investment of time and money. From the meetings arranged for us with marketing companies to military suppliers, we enjoyed tapping the network connections provided by the SBDC and the PA government representatives that have already begun to produce fruitful orders from the journey. Through these government resources, we enjoyed wonderful opportunities to begin new business relationships with several new clients in that area of the world. In fact, we were even introduced to the US Ambassador to South Africa during our travels!

JF Magic Introduces New Neon With a Twist

JF Magic and NRNeon have recently signed a contract forming a strategic alliance.  We have combined our efforts to promote both “Neo-Links”, a new twist on Neon technologies allowing Neon Alphanumeric characters to be connected to form any combination of words resulting in signs in a snap at incredibly reduced cost compared to present Neon products. In addition, fiber optic technologies are being added to Flow-Neon technology resulting in new, innovative products never before seen by consumers. Earmarked for distribution in late 2007 into several markets, the Buzz on the street suggests that this new technology may grow exponentially to become the next tsunami of sign applications.

Canadian Business Opportunities, Sweeter than Maple Syrup!

Canada may be a leader in Maple Syrup production, but it pales by comparison to the abundance of great business opportunities offered within its border. JFM was fortunate enough with the assistance of the PA SBDC to experience the taste some of that sweetness. The Canadian business expedition began with exploring companies whose products could embrace JFM technologies such as cardboard Point-of-Purchase Displays, premium promotional apparel, cardboard licensed character "Stand-Ups," custom "Concept Cars," and inflatable "Sky Dancers." JFM is presently working on requested proposals for several of the companies and the future looks sweeter than Maple Syrup.

JFM Invades Australia and is Greeted with Open Arms

April 2006  The SBDC assisted trip yielded a virtual cornucopia of clients! From Point of Purchase Display agencies to Brand Licensing companies, meetings were fruitful on every front. Even before two weeks had past from our departure, project requests were rolling in and animated GIF files were already being generated in China to send to Australian clients for proposed projects.

Sydney and Melbourne both offer a great deal of diverse potentials spanning many different fields of opportunities. From apparel to outdoor signage, perspective clients embraced the idea of using JFM technologies to many arenas of products adding a special unique quality that nothing else offers in the world. Intellectual Property protection of technologies topped off the list of priorities under discussion in many of the meetings, an important attribute that JFM is proud to be able to offer to its clients.

Miko, the CEO, spoke at the Counsel of Great Lakes Governor’s meeting in front of a multitude of Australian businessmen representing companies in Melbourne hosted by the American Chamber of Commerce in Australia. The networking opportunities overflowed throughout the evening as she spoke to many of the company representatives present. Meanwhile outside in the lighted stadium, Australia was beating the socks off Greece who was favored to win the soccer game.

Meetings borne from those conversations are continuing to manifest themselves as we move forward. JFM is looking forward to working with the SBDC for a similar attack in Canada in the upcoming months ahead. JFM will continue to pursue new clients and new business relationships through working closely with the SBDC for every country who is represented in their organization.

Lehigh Valley SBDC Promotes JF Magic Locally and “Down Under”

April 2006   The SBDC (Small Business Development Center) of the Lehigh Valley has been an extremely valuable resource arranging for JF Magic to display their fiber optic and mobile alert phone products in the East Rotunda of the state capital building in Harrisburg, PA, on April 24th, 2006 assisted by SBDC personnel. The company’s President, Miko Green, and Vice President of R&D, Lee Wainwright, had the opportunity to meet with Senators and House Representatives of Pennsylvania to showcase several new products planned for introduction to the market later this year.

The SBDC is also responsible for arranging upcoming meetings with specifically targeted companies in Australia through the Great Lakes Governor’s Program using assistance from their support personnel located in Sydney. Ms. Green and Mr. Wainwright will spend a week meeting with companies throughout the western portion of Australia in the hope of building new business relationships and eventually begin exporting products to the region.

In addition, JFM personnel were invited to attend a dinner sponsored by The Lehigh Valley World Trade Club to discuss “International Trade Development” hosted by the SBDC at the Best Western Hotel Meeting Center located in Bethlehem, PA. Representatives from Chile, Brazil, and South Africa’s Business Development Programs met with Mr. Wainwright and Ms. Green to discuss how they could assist JFM to identify contacts and eventually meet with companies in those regions to expand business. New Breakthrough in Security Identification Technology

April 2005   JF Magic is proud to announce its newest technology breakthrough utilizing a special technique to identify authorized personnel, vehicles, and equipment from a distance using security cameras and other types of detection equipment. Unseen by the naked eye, JFM’s low-cost, water-proof addition to fabric for remote identification sports the ability to be seen only by CCD and other special cameras through remote activation for displaying bright graphics, alphanumeric characters, animated movement within the graphics, and/or data communication from any fabric or material. Applications include; soldiers, uniformed military and corporation security personnel, diplomats, couriers, police, DEA and undercover agents, NAVY Seals, exterior fabric on Kevlar “Body Armor” (bullets have little or no effect), vehicles, as well as other applications.

Fiber Optic Animated Apparel

1st Quarter 2005   The first shipment of fiber optic animated “Kiss My Booty” Blue Jeans developed by JF Magic rolled off the manufacturing line during the first quarter of 2005 and were sold out in just two days! The jeans sport a tiny microprocessor, fiber optics, and for washing, a removable coin cell battery compartment. Completely water resistant, the electronics and fiber optics are almost totally indiscernible until the convenient push-button switch activates the display. The second shipment of these incredibly “fun to wear” attention-getting jeans will arrive during the second quarter 2005. Take a peek at the home page of our website to see just what they do to grab attention and contact info@jfmagic.com to find out where you can purchase these unique pieces of apparel. New Mobile Phone Technologies

1st Quarter 2005   JF Magic developed a new technological method for increasing the range of Cell Phone Alert Charms to react up to several feet from a mobile phone. Under Patent Pending, this new technology allows for users to add tiny charms to their personal charm bracelets the size of a small coin that flash visual alert signals to the users of cellular phones when a nearby mobile phone receives a call even when the phone is hidden inside a purse, bag, briefcase, belt pack, backpack or pocket! Distribution begins in May 2005.

In another patent pending technology developed by JF Magic, the “Mobile Alert Adaptor,” notifies users of incoming calls to their cellular phones through their own stereo headphones when listening to their favorite tunes at any volume. Now calls will not go unnoticed while wearing a pair of stereo headphones again.

The latest in the Mobile Alert products, the “Skull Alert,” notifies users of incoming calls received on mobile phones up to several feet away by flashing demonic eyes from inside a molded skull and crossbones connected to a dog tag chain necklace. When hung from the mirror inside an automobile, the skull flashes its eerie eyes when anyone in the vehicle receives or makes a cellular phone call. This product will be available during the second quarter of 2005.

Under development is the forth mobile alert device, the “Auto Mobile Alert,” that lowers the volume of the automobile sound system when anyone inside the vehicle receives or initiates a call on their cellular phones. Available as an end-user “after-market” installation kit, this product is cited for release in late 2005, early 2006.
